Don Harris
News 4 WOAI

Don Harris is the award winning Weekday Sports Anchor and Sports Director for News 4 (TV) In 2005 he was honored by the Texas A.P. Broadcasters for Best Editorial/Commentary for his "Don's Extra Point."   Mr. Harris is a 17 year veteran of News 4, and has covered many major sporting events during that time, including Super Bowls, Final Fours and three Spurs World Championships.

   

Bob Lilly
Dallas Cowboys 1961-1974
Pro Football Hall of Fame, ’80

A former American football player in the NFL and photographer. He is considered one of the greatest defensive linemen in NFL history.  Born in Olney, Texas, Mr. Lilly originally made a name for himself as an All-American football player at Texas Christian University and star defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys from 1961 to 1974.

From San Marcos, Texas, is an American football quarterback who starred at Brigham Young University and the winner of the 56th Heisman Trophy.  Mr. Detmer currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons.

Cheri Groom
Fitness Educator

Cheri Groom has been involved in the fitness industry for over 10 years as a group exercise instructor, personal trainer, fitness writer and continuing education provider for ACE, AFAA and NASM. A Resist-A-Ball Master Trainer and Circle of Excellence Award recipient, Cheri is known for her teaching skills, enthusiasm, and creativity.  She instructs innovative fitness programs both internationally and in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas.

   

Rev. Richard Kannwischer
First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio

Rev Richard Kannwischer graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. He went on to complete his graduate work at the Princeton Theological Seminary, quickly becoming Pastor of a Houston church, where he ministered for three years. Life changed dramatically when at 28, he was called to lead a suburban New York City congregation through the horrific events of 9-11. Recently, Richard was named senior pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio—the same church he attended as a Trinity student.

   

Cottie Miles

Mr. Miles' practice includes the following areas: Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Land Use Planning, Natural Resources, including Oil & Gas, and Corporate Law.  Mr. Miles was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1997, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 1999. Mr. Miles is a frequent speaker/writer in Commercial Real Estate and Natural Resources Law, including Oil and Gas.  He was most recently published in the Real Estate, Trust and Probate Reporter (October 2004 Issue) regarding a new statutory lien, and he presented an article he wrote at the Advanced Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Course in September 2004 regarding Vacancy Law.

Dr. Sharon Wilks

Dr. Wilks is an oncologist and hematologist with Cancer Care Centers of South Texas.  Her special interest in oncology is breast cancer, especially early detection, prevention, and adjuvant and metastatic treatment.  Her undergraduate degree is from Goucher College, Towson Maryland, and her medical degree is from Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.  She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, medical oncology, and medical hematology. Dr. Wilks is
currently a reviewer of medical cases for the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners and an investigator for the National Cancer Institute.
