Slam Dunk for Life teams with the community and its corporate partners to improve the physical, mental and social health of at-risk youth. The SDFL vision of Education ∙ Preparation ∙ Dedication ∙ Integrity ∙ Perseverance aims to establish a model youth development program through the provision of character building activities that promote important life values. Utilizing a concept of teamwork to teach life lessons, the original SDFL was 4 week–long summer basketball camps. The program now includes more than 20 basketball, football, volleyball, and fine arts camps. |
