With these principles in mind it is SDFL’s goal to improve and
strengthen the physical, mental and social health of these at-risk
youth.
Since beginning this campaign SDFL has grown from assisting 254
campers in 2002 to over 1,500 in 2007, with more than 2,300 hearing the
Slam dunk message annually not only from local/professional coaches and
athletes, but they receive this vital message from successful and
prominent members of the San Antonio business community.
